Hair Cutting
Duration: 120 hours
Theory: The training includes the Study of Structure and Composition of Hair, Hair Analysis, Growth Cycles and Growth Patterns, Shampooing and Conditioning, Usage of Brushes and Combs, Styling Products, Basic Principles of Hair Cutting, choosing the right hair style for a particular face shape, fringes, texturizing techniques using scissors, razors and texturing shears.
Practical: Classic Haircuts – One length, 45 degree haircuts, 180 degree haircut, 90 degree haircut etc.
Advance Cuts: Classic Bob – shoulder length, Natural Inversion, Forward Graduation, Square Layers, Layered Cut using razor, Graduated Bob, Quick Cuts – Brick, Wispy, Piggyback.
Men’s Cuts: Scissors over comb, Use of clipper and its attachments, Neckline shaping.
Hair Coloring
Duration: 120 hours
Theory: The curriculum includes Study of Structure and Composition of Hair, Hair Growth Cycles and Growth Patterns, Hair Analysis, Shampooing and Conditioning, Color Wheel, the Level System, Identifying Underlying Pigments, Types of Hair Color and Hydrogen Peroxides, Functions of Pre-lighteners.
Practical: The course includes Client Consultation, Color Application on Virgin Hair, Color Application on Colored Hair, Global Color Application, Highlighting Techniques, and Color Retouch Techniques.
